Four Miles of Family Floating Fun
This easy, four mile, class II trip is great for families wanting to bring along the little ones. Children as young as four years old are welcome on this quarter-day American River white water rafting adventure. A great introduction for first-timers, too!
The adventure begins right at our river camp launching point. Here you will meet your guides, receive the safety talk and paddling instructions before the journey begins. The Family Float is a leisurely trip with plenty of time to take in the beautiful scenery and wildlife along the river. While on the river, you will enjoy great Class I & II rapids such as Lotus Ledge, Barking Dog and Current Divide. The trip ends at approximately 2:30 PM. Please be aware that a variety of factors may cause a trip to end earlier or later than planned. Take this into consideration when making your travel plans.
