All 1-day trips include a complimentary night of camping before your trip and 2-day trips include 2 nights of camping overall. All California rafting meals are provided with the exception of our quarter-day and half-day American River white water rafting trips. Ice cold refreshments served at the end of all our California rafting trips.

American River Recreation has always offered California rafting trips at prices consistently below the average rate for California white water rafting. Our Discount Program for California white water rafting was designed to help make California rafting trips affordable for everyone. California rafting groups enjoy substantial savings. Select dates for California white water rafting are also discounted throughout the spring and summer, along with great Web specials.
Groups with limited budgets for California white water rafting receive additional California rafting discounts by providing their own meals. We also offer a number of free and low cost California white water rafting trips for charitable and financially disadvantaged groups. Family Trips – American River whitewater rafting
Bring your family to the South Fork American River starting on any weekday during May, June, July, or August and receive a special discount on one or two day trips. For each full-paying adult, one youth (age 6 to 16) will go for half price.
Mother’s Day & Father’s Day
On Father’s Day, dad goes California white water rafting for half price with his family of five, or he goes for free with his family of seven. The same discount applies to mom on Mother’s Day.**
Turbulent Thursdays
Go California white water rafting on the Middle Fork American River for $129 on Thursday.**
Merced Mondays
Raft the Merced River on Monday for only $129.00. Save $20.00 off the mid-week price.
